"Monuments+" Co-Presents Carrie Van Horn

Lesley University’s Art + Design’s Online Public Lecture Series “Monuments+” proudly presents Carrie Van Horn who provides a window into the world of film and dynamic film installations at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. Van Horn addresses film as both material object and ephemeral projection in conjunction with a special exhibition, Film as Monument, for which the Lunder Arts Center becomes an illuminated lantern. With its street-facing gallery windows and atrium, the exhibition showcases a combination of projected experimental film, digital flat screens, and hand-painted celluloid artwork created by Lesley University Art + Design Digital Film students and local high school students.
