MMMH Presents Sarah Johnson

Sarah Johnson is a native of Maine who began her organ studies with Kevin Birch.  Her undergraduate degree is from Vassar College, where she studied organ with Gail Archer and piano with Todd Crow. She holds a Master of Sacred Music degree from Boston University, where she studied organ with Peter Sykes.  During her time in Boston, Sarah was Organ Scholar at Holy Name Parish in West Roxbury and Assistant Librarian at the Organ Library of the American Guild of Organists.   In Rochester, she was the Organ Assistant (VanDelinder Prize Winner) at Christ Church for two years.  Sarah currently serves as the Minister of Music at Church of the Ascension in Rochester, NY.

The program will showcase works by Cabanilles, van Oortmerssen, Bach, Paine, Whitlock, Vierne, and Buck.
