Minni Marbling Workshop - Leather Coasters

Grown-ups of all ages, artistic abilities and inclinations are welcome to Minni Marbling Workshop – Leather Coasters, an evening of crafting marbled leather coasters using the meditative and engaging Suminagashi water marbling technique. Instructor will guide participants through process of gently and slowly creating unique patterns and swirls using water and vibrant Sumi inks on natural leather. Each participant will bring home a set of unique marbled coasters made of a thick, natural leather. Unwind and let your creativity flow.

About the Instructor

Aubrey Daugherty-Costa is a multidisciplinary artist who earned her BFA in Fibers at Massachusetts College of Art  and Design. She is interested in the relationship between nature and the maker, and enjoys creating installations where that relationship can be explored. Like nature, her work finds a rhythm using repetition and pattern. She works from her home studio in Avon, MA and is an art educator in the greater Boston area.
