In February 2021, the TCAN Cinema launches the TCAN Spotlight Series, a new monthly series of related films featuring some of the industry’s most celebrated directors and actors.
Curated by TCAN's Cinema Programs Director Nicola Anderson, the TCAN Spotlight Series will provide moviegoers with an opportunity to enjoy the work of a single film industry icon, presented on the big screen as the films were intended to be seen. February will feature British-American film director Christopher Nolan, with selected movies from his catalog of award-winning films.

Memento (2001) – Receiving Oscar nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Film Editing, and the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival, Memento is a neo-noir psychological thriller starring Guy Pearce as a man tracking down the assailant who raped and murdered his wife. The difficulty of locating his wife’s killer is compounded by the fact that he suffers from a rare, untreatable form of memory loss. Although he can recall details of life before his accident, Leonard cannot remember what happened fifteen minutes ago, where he’s going, or why.
