Brookline Music School: Meet the Instruments (ages 6-9)

The remote edition of our popular introduction to the colorful world of musical instruments! Re-imagined as an engaging weekly class, the program is enriched with musical storybook readings, virtual “studio visits” to faculty experts on such instruments as cello, clarinet, drums, flute, french horn, percussion, piano, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, violin, and more! Students will learn something new about the history and repertoire of each instrument before getting an up-close look and hearing it played live! Fun, at-home instrument craft activities round out this multi-angle exploration. Students emerge excited to begin lessons themselves on one (or many) instruments!
