Martha's Vineyard Book Festival 2021 Summer Series on Saturday, August 7th

The Martha’s Vineyard Book Festival’s live Summer Series moves to Chilmark. Held both down-Island and up-Island, and outdoors, the 2021 Summer Series feature 22 of the country’s leading authors. It is an extraordinary line up of fiction and non-fiction authors with discussions on the cutting edge issues of the day. All events will be ticketed in advance and ticket sales will include the purchase of books.

10 a.m. – Walter Isaacson – The Code Breaker – with Holden Thorp

11:15 a.m. – Adam Jentleson – Kill Switch – with Deb Paul
12:15 p.m. – Torrey Peters – Detransition, Baby – with Elizabeth Benedict
12:30 p.m. – Mark Bittman – Animal, Vegetable, Junk – with Danielle Dreilinger
1:30 p.m. – Cecilia Kang – An Ugly Truth – with Andrew Marantz
1:45 p.m. – Patricia Sullivan – Justice Rising – with Lawrence O’Donnell
2:45 p.m. – Vernon Burton and Armand Derfner – Justice Deferred – with Peter Edelman
3 p.m. – Elizabeth Kolbert – Under the White Sky – with Brad Campbell
