One of a kind opportunity to hear and learn about traditional Turkish music and how it has been used in Anatolian hospitals to support medicine.
Turkish musical modes (makams) have been used in Anatolian hospitals as a complementary therapy for a range of illnesses since the 10th century. In this event we will present a variety of these modes in the forms of instrumental and vocal pieces as well as improvisations.
