Living Music Summit: Zaka

An evening of high energy music featuring Pulitzer Prize winning composer Jennifer Higdon’s “Zaka” and a new work by the winner of BNMI’s 8th Annual Commissioning Competition, Paul Novak. We will be performing Compressor by Nicholas Wentz, Home by Julia Werntz, (Re) Inventions by Roger Zare, Shell by David Biedenbender, Chain Reactions by Clifton Callender, Prisms and Mirrors by Paul Novak, and Zaka by Jennifer Higdon.

Presented by the Boston New Music Initiative’s core ensemble conducted by Tian Hui Ng and with special guest artist soprano, Stephanie Lamprea.
