Known for his “guttural voice (that) bears a captivating, rustic quality-similar to the smoky style of M. Ward,” (The Northeast Performer) Tim Gearan was raised in New York, yet is lovingly claimed by the legendary Boston music community, where he has been playing music for over 25 years. These days, you can catch Tim playing with some the best musicians Boston has to offer, every 1st and 3rd Friday nights of the month, at Atwood’s Tavern in Cambridge, MA. Tim’s residency at Atwood’s was awarded the Boston Music Award’s Best Ongoing Live Residency in 2012, and has had several nominations since then. Tim, will be joined by Russell Chudnofsky (guitarist for Lori McKenna, Tanya Donelly, Sarah Borges) and Dave Westner (recording engineer for Peter Wolf, Dennis Brennan, Catie Curtis.)
