Join Dory Klein for a comprehensive view of this seed library from the ground up.
With the rise of corporate farming models, the 12,000-year-old practice of seed saving has dwindled abruptly. Klein, the librarian at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond, Virginia, will talk about efforts to rediscover and share knowledge, and describe cultural traditions around food production and plants.
