Grammy Award-winning jazz saxophonist Joshua Redman makes his much-anticipated return to Rockport! Coming on the heels of where we are, his soon-to-be released Blue Note Records debut, Redman and his stellar band will delight the audience with his intoxicating balance of intellectual curiosity and soulful, melodic heart. The concert will feature a rising female jazz singer, Gabrielle Cavassa with songs representing a region of the U.S. – for example, Springsteen’s “Streets of Philadelphia”, Count Basie’s “Going to Chicago” and John Coltrane’s “Alabama.”
