JLive Art: Mosaic artist Cecilia Kramer

Argentinian born mosaic artist Cecilia Kramer lived in Israel from 1984 to 1993 when she immigrated to the US with her husband. Trained as an epidemiologist, art was always an important part of her life until she encountered mosaics. Now, she says, “I make mosaics, teach mosaics, facilitate mosaic community projects, breathe mosaics.” She’s been specializing in Judaic mosaic art and work with schools and temples to create customized gifts (tzedakah boxes, mezuzahs) for special occasions and milestones.
