Contemporary clay sculptures celebrate life, family, and the Creator of all things.
Jaeok Lee’s exhibition, Family of All Things, features fired clay figurative sculptures. Paired and singular figures interact with each other as Lee explores and celebrates relationships with herself, her family, nature, and the Creator of all things. The sculptures’ surfaces are evocative of stone and incorporate fiber elements with the final addition of colorful glazes. Lee taps into her native Korea’s cultural past and revitalizes traditions with her unique perspective and values.
