It Goes Like This...at The Dance Complex

“It Goes Like This…Stories of Movement” brings live storytelling to the next level! Artists of various mediums and perspectives will share their personal stories involving the night’s theme of “movement.” Featured storytellers Joan Green, Corey Laitman, Ashley Rose Salomon, Tashawn Taylor, Bethany Van Delft and J. Michael Winward, will be sharing through dance, spoken word, performance painting, video, music, song and poetry. Time permitting, audience members can sign up to share a story as well, open mic style. 

Whether you come to be entertained, to learn, to support or to tell a story yourself, YOU ARE WELCOME. A post-show reception with beer, wine, snacks and music will keep the vibe going and the crowd mingling. Cheers to good stories, interesting interpretations and new connections! 

This event will be held in The Dance Complex’s fully accessible ground level Studio 7. The program will last 60-90 minutes depending on the number of audience participants, and the reception will go until 10:30.
