Description: In this two hour online workshop, you will get a broad introduction to photo editing by watching a professional talk through and demonstrate the editing process using two of your own photos. Through this process, you will gain an understanding of how to analyze photographs to figure out the type of edits that would most improve the image. Once determined, the instructor will talk through how to select the functions that are best suited to making those changes, and then do a step-by-step demonstration of the process. This workshop is ideal for people new to photo editing, or those considering investing in the Adobe Photography Plan (which includes Photoshop and Lightroom).
This workshop is not a how-to session, but rather an overview that illustrates what’s possible with photo editing. By the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of how to look at your photos and figure out what needs to be done to improve the images. You will also be introduced to the important concepts in photo editing such as effective cropping, lighting adjustments, color enhancement, and selective editing of parts of an image.
The software used for this class includes Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom Classic, and Topaz Photo AI (you do not need to own any of this software to participate!).
