Intro to Belly Dance -- a fundraiser for Arlington EATS

Join us from our own home for an hour of fun where Seyyide Sultan will introduce you to the basics of belly dancing. This dance works for all ages and body types, everybody is welcome. It will be informative and a workout too.
Wear comfortable clothes and open up a little space in your living room, to follow along.
The class will be live, interactive, using the Zoom platform.
We are charging our usual rate of $20. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our local non-profit organization Arlington EATS, www.arlingtoneats.com.

About Seyyide
Professional dancer well known for her authentic Arabic style, she has performed since 1999 all over the greater Boston area in Middle Eastern clubs Such as the Red Fez, , Sahara, Athenian Corner, Black Olive , the Middle East, as well as theaters and private/business events. A Former member of the Arabian Dance Company in Buenos Aires (2000), she brings a wealth of experience to her current project as founder of her award-winning troupe “SARAB”, which she directs and choreographs.
She has also been a recipient of several grants from Arlington Cultural Council.
She has been studying dance for many years since childhood, from her time in Argentina to Boston. As a teacher and coach, she has taught belly dancing at various locations for 20 years now.
