Intaglio Etching (Online Class)

Intaglio etching might just be the thing! In this class, you will learn the art of etching from Maine artist Tim Christensen. He has travelled the world,  documenting what he had seen, using this medium. When you enroll, you will get everything you need to create a beautiful etched printing plate: prepared plate, etching tools, sandpaper,  and a prepaid, pre-addressed envelope.  We will meet for a 2 1/2 hour class through Zoom, where you’ll create a beautiful etching under Tim’s interesting and kind guidance. Then, using the envelope, you’ll send back the plate and Tim will print 3 archival, embossed, prints using his press in the woods of Roque Bluffs, ME, then return the plate with those prints to you!
