Join Cyrus Dallin Art Museum to celebrate the opening of their new Indigenous Peoples Gallery!
This powerful new exhibit explores Cyrus Dallin’s sculptures of Indigenous peoples in the context of his own time, intentions, and advocacy, while elevating the experiences of Indigenous peoples of the past and present. Interpretive themes examine America’s colonial legacy, the complex responses to Dallin’s imagery by viewers today, and Indigenous perspectives on history and healing.
The Dallin Museum is grateful to our collaborators Elizabeth Solomon (Massachusett Tribe at Ponkapoag),
