Horszowski Trio with Barry Shiffman (Canceled)

Ensemble-in-Residence of the Leschetizky Association and the Longy School of Music, the Horszowski Trio has received tremendous acclaim for their release of Schumann’s complete piano trios. In this concert, they bring an evening of firsts—the Horszowski Trio in their debut performance in the Festival, performs Beethoven’s first published chamber music work along with two Schumann firsts—his first published piano trio and piano quartet. The Horszowski join with RCMF Artistic Director Barry Shiffman for a moving, and at times explosive, performance of Schumann’s Piano Quartet.
