A summer concert of pieces old & new!
Summer is here! To celebrate, the Horizon Ensemble is performing music of past & present. We'll feature newly-written works for string orchestra in a wide range of styles & atmospheres, by composers Max Friedman, Seamus Hubbard Flynn, Ryan Johnston, and Lara Poe. Then, we'll play the delightful Nonet by Louise Farrenc, one of the most prominent French composers & educators of the 19th century.
