Here Comes the Sun Art Installation
A Multimedia Public Art Installation on the Lawn of The Umbrella at 40 Stow Street
Here Comes The Sun is a collaborative mixed media and lighting installation conceived by Umbrella board members and artists Ellen McHale and Gail Burr. For this installation, community members are invited to contribute origami doves made of recyclable Tyvek and inscribed with messages of hope, wishes, and dedications to the heroes around us. These "dedication doves" are then hung on a rig over The Umbrella's main entrance at 40 Stow Street, Concord, where you can see them during daytime ArtfestView more

The Umbrella is in Concord Center, easily accessible from the Walden exit of Route 2. The Umbrella is also 2 block walk (about 0.4 mi., 7 minutes) from the Fitchburg Commuter Rail Concord Station stop at 90 Thoreau Street.
