Here and There

The Loading Dock Gallery’s new August show,  “Here and There” features the work of Suzanne Hodge and Nan Hockenbury. These artists give a unique twist to the commonplace, making the ordinary seem not so ordinary.

Nan’s paper collages feature things seen from her personal point of view, such as morning coffee, favorite things, and flowers from the garden.

Suzanne goes outside the personal into the public. Her loosely painted, nearly abstracted scenes of the urban landscape are seen from her perspective as an artist.
