Hampton, who made Roxbury his home, is perhaps best known as the founder of Blackside, Inc., and producer of “Eyes on the Prize,” the PBS documentary series that became the definitive telling of the Civil Rights movement. Sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry, Roxbury Heritage State Park, and Roxbury Historical Society.
