Hawaiian Hula with Marta Moussa

This class will take students through the basic steps and terminology of hula.  We will utilize the hula vocabulary in learning pre-European contact hula known as kahiko and the modern style hula known as ‘auana.

Please note: this is not a “drop in” class.

Class Attire: Pa’u (Hawaiian skirt-available on line), pareo(sarong) (3-4 yds cotton fabric).
Other acceptable attire: capris, shorts, knee length skirt, leggings

NO baggy outfits, ankle length skirts, or long pants.

Class is done in bare feet.
