Hatch Street Spring Open Studios

Hatch Street Studios is New Bedford’s largest community of visual and performing artists, housed in two adjoining historic mill buildings in the city’s North End. The painters, weavers, potters, printmakers, photographers, woodworkers, stained glass artists and more, who work in these two grand brick and stone former factories open their doors to the public for two days each spring and fall. They invite you to experience a their creative work-spaces, delight in wandering from studio to studio, awaken the senses with live music, art demos, and workshops.

Ask questions, hear the artists talk about their inspiration and techniques, see the environment in which the work was created, and come home with a unique treasure or two.
