In connection with our current Mills Gallery show Raafat Majzoub: GROUNDS curated by Artemis Akchoti Shahbazi, we are having an event to experience together one of the pieces in the exhibition.

A Closeup on the Sound of Blooming is an audio procedure transporting the artist from Lebanon to Palestine—an otherwise inaccessible journey—through a radio broadcast. We invite you to a collective listening, illustration, and discussion of the piece in the presence of the curator.
