Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and Francis Poulenc’s Gloria premiered in the 1960s. Both were influenced by jazz and popular music and exemplify the power of sacred texts to express timeless desires for peace and spiritual transcendence.

The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
