Global Cinema Film Festival of Boston (GCFF) presented by Worldwide Cinema Frames Studios/Films LLC is delighted to announce the eagerly awaited details of its 9th annual event, promising a fusion of in-person and online experiences from May 17th to May 21st, 2024. In a testament to the festival’s dedication to cinematic excellence and accessibility, GCFF proudly unveils its partnership with The Capitol Theatre, located at 204 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA 02474, as the esteemed venue for all in-person cinema screenings during the festival. This historic arthouse setting will provide the perfect backdrop for attendees to immerse themselves in places near and far.

Highlights of GCFF 2024 include:

Hybrid Format: Combining the best of both worlds, GCFF 2024 will offer a dynamic blend of in-person cinema screenings at The Capitol Theatre and virtual screenings accessible online exclusively on Filmocracy.

In-Person Screenings: Kicking off on Friday, May 17th, the festival will feature captivating in-person cinema screenings at The Capitol Theatre from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with additional screenings on Saturday, May 18th, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Online Experience: For the majority of titles in the program, audiences in the United States can enjoy Video on Demand (VOD) screenings online until May 21st, 2024, at 11:55 PM EST, ensuring that the festival’s cinematic offerings are accessible to all.

Q&A Sessions: Following select screenings, audiences will have the opportunity to engage with filmmakers and industry professionals through interactive Q&A sessions, enriching their experience and fostering a deeper connection and conversations about the human condition near and far.

Official Selections: GCFF is proud to present a diverse lineup of films selected for their artistic merit, creativity, and cultural significance, offering audiences a glimpse into the rich tapestry of global cinema.
