Enjoy the view over Boston Harbor by the light of the full moon from the top of the Bunker Hill Monument.

Enjoy the view over Boston Harbor by the light of the full moon from the top of the Bunker Hill Monument. It is a strenuous 294 steps to the top. But if you are up for it, the view is worthy of the climb. On the night of the full moon the Bunker Hill Monument will be open 6:00 - 8:00 pm (last climb at 7:30pm).

The Bunker Hill Monument is open on a modified schedule. Only 20 people are allowed in the monument at a time. The Monument may close for climbing due to weather conditions and/or other safety considerations. The stairwell in the Monument is a narrow, enclosed space. There is no ventilation inside the Monument, and visitors will not be able to social distance.
