Professor Marcia Chatelain will discuss her astonishing new work which reveals the tie between McDonald’s, civil rights, and black capitalism, taking us from the troubled years after King’s assassination to the conflict in Ferguson.
The American Ancestors at the venerable New England Historic Genealogical Society continues its American Inspiration Author Series with a discussion by Professor Marie Chatelain, a professor of history and African American studies at Georgetown University. The author of South Side Girls will discuss her new book with Leah Wright Riguer of Harvard's John F Kennedy School of Government.
