Bring Emmanuel Music into your home this Thanksgiving weekend on November 27 at 8 p.m. as we present a virtual concert on YouTube recorded at Emmanuel Church featuring the Arneis Quartet!
On the program are works by J.S. Bach, Kurt Weill, and Benjamin Britten, alongside works by contemporary Black composers Jessie Montgomery and Boston’s own Jonathan Bailey Holland.
The members of the prizewinning Boston-based Arneis Quartet – violinists Heather Braun and Rose Drucker, violist Daniel Doña, and cellist Agnes Kim – are all familiar members of the orchestra of Emmanuel Music and have participated in the Bach Cantata Series, Chamber Series, and Late Night at Emmanuel.
