During this virtual presentation, costume historian Carrie Midura will show the historical styles of dress and accessories worn by women of Rebecca’s social and economic status in early 19th-century Massachusetts.
Carrie Midura has been sewing professionally and as a hobby for 25+ years and has taught sewing classes throughout New England. She previously owned a sewing business specializing in historical costumes and teaching traditional sewing techniques. Carrie has created period clothing for historical sites throughout New England. Gore Place will offer this program free, online.
