Using simple still life objects, and the PASS method (Proportion, Angles, Shape and Shading), your hand will learn to make marks that match what your eyes see.

Materials:
Students should bring the following supplies:
Drawing Paper
Toned Paper
Pencils (2B, 2H, and 4B)
Kneaded Eraser
White Vinyl Eraser
Vine charcoal
White chalk pencil
Other drawing media as desired
About the instructor:
Susan is orgininally from Massachusetts but for thirty years she lived in Utah, Oregon, New Jersey, and Virginia before moving to Reading, MA. Susan earned a B.S. in Design from Brigham Young University, a Post Baccalaureate Certificate from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and a Museum Studies Master’s Degree from Harvard Extension. In addition, she is a Certified Zentagle® Teacher. Her artwork has been shown in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.
