25th Annual Do It Your Damn Self!! National Youth Film Festival

Do It Your Damn Self!! National Youth Film Festival is the longest-running youth film festival in the country! Built on the principles of self-determination. In 1996, six Cambridge youth recognized a lack of representation and gross misrepresentation of those who are historically excluded from the frame; these enterprising youth began a film festival that now spans two and a half decades. The film festival continues to be a space for under-represented young people to share their stories. Filmmakers from around the country descend upon Cambridge to share their art. This year, Do It Your Damn Self!! will host 2 screenings: Friday, June 3, Harvard Art Museums [6:30 – 11pm] and Saturday, June 4, Kendall/MIT Open Space [6:00 -10PM].
