DIY Night: Embroidery Art

Sure, we like to study art, but we also enjoy making our own art too. As part of its continuing Do-It-Yourself event series, the Museum invites visitors to make their own works of art in and around the Museum. Inspired by the ribbon and leather on canvas works by Nicholas Hlobo in Indian Ocean Current, the Museum is conducting an embroidery-art workshop. Pop in anytime between 4:00 and 8:00 pm to try your hand at a few different stitches and create your own work of art. No prior artistic experience is required. We’ll provide the materials, you provide the creativity.
