Creating the Vote: How to "Actually" Take Action

ArtsBoston has pledged to #CreateTheVote and joined the campaign’s steering committee, and we’ve been working hard to get the word out about how artists and arts organizations can be more civically engaged.

September 11th at 11am, we invite you to join the #CreateTheVote’s steering committee to learn how you and your organization can protect and strengthen democracy this election season and beyond.

This Zoom conversation will be led by Emily Ruddock, executive director of MASSCreative and J. Cottle, Young Civic Leaders Coordinator at MassVOTE along with guest artists and administrators. They will lead a discussion on do’s & don’ts of non-profits during election seasons as well as concrete, sustainable action items on advocacy and voting for individuals. We want to empower you to advocate for the arts and play an active role in this year’s elections.
