Toe-tapping tunes will be sung by Hildy Grossman, Jinny Sagorin and Lexy Lattimore along with the Follen Angels band. You’ll also be bedazzled by Indian Classical Dancer (Sumati Ram-Mohan), Ballroom Dancers (Jesse Kirkpatrick & Anna Soong, Salsa Dancer (Lexy Lattimore) and—get ready—Bollywood Dancers (Nivetha Dance Crew)! The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
