Closing Celebration: "Who Owns the Past/Present?"

Teaching Artist Sergio Beltrán-García works with Youth Artists from Urbano Project this weekend in the “Who Owns the Past/Present?” workshop that tries to make sense of monuments, memorials, memory, representation, and justice. Through three days of art sessions, site visits around Boston, readings, and conversations, they are exploring how a memorial can become a tool for positive change and how to critique existing monuments.
