Celebrate the end of summer with a program of American Composers!

The Boston Public Quartet is thrilled to present three American works for piano and strings you've probably never heard. Arthur Foote, a member of the "Boston Six," writes romantic and impressionistic music which is full of distinctly "American" melodies. His Piano Quartet opus 23 was published in 1890, and during Foote's lifetime was performed to great acclaim. On the MBTA Green Line C Branch: Get off at the Dean Road stop. You will see the church across the street. On the MBTA Green Line D Branch: Get off at the Beaconsfield stop. Walk through the parking lot and turn left onto Beaconsfield Road. After one block, at the stop sign, turn right onto Dean Road, the church is on your left at the corner.

Parking
Parking is available on both sides of Beacon Street, on the median strip on the westbound side of Beacon Street, on Dean Road on the side opposite the park, and in the residential areas around the church. Brookline has a two-hour parking limit on all streets from 6:00 a.m.to 1:00 a.m. Overnight parking on the street is prohibited. For parking rules see the Town of Brookline Parking.
