Canon, Canyon, Cannon: All Black Everything

Porsha Olayiwola, Boston Poet Laureate, gathers leading artists from across the city and beyond for an evening of poetry and performance.

Join ISG for Canon, Canyon, Cannon, an evening of poetry and performance curated by Porsha Olayiwola, Boston Poet Laureate, Gardner Museum Artist-In-Residence, and Neighborhood Salon Luminary, and featuring leading local and national artists UGBA, Zenaida Peterson, Letta Neely, and Nikky Finney. These poets invite us to consider questions of influence and find new meaning through language and performance.

ADMISSION INFO

This performance takes place in Calderwood Hall. Calderwood Hall has open seating within each level. Doors to Calderwood Hall open 45 minutes prior to the performance, and seats are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Your ticket includes Museum admission, and we encourage you to explore our galleries and exhibitions prior to securing your seat.
Please arrive no earlier than 2 hours prior to the event.

A limited number of free and metered spots are available near the Gardner Museum. We also offer discounted parking at the next-door Simmons School of Management Garage and are walking distance from the lots at the Museum of Fine Arts.

SIMMONS UNIVERSITY PARKING
Discounted* parking is available on Levels P1-P3 of the Simmons School of Management (SOM) Garage, at 86 Avenue Louis Pasteur.

MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS PARKING
Three parking lots are available at the Museum of Fine Arts, on Museum Road accessible from Huntington Avenue or from the Fenway.
