Singer, pianist, and actress, Camille Bertault’s life changed almost overnight since she posted a video of her vocalizing to John Coltrane’s “Giant Steps”, to which she wrote the French version of the lyrics. The video went viral with over 1 million views within days. Bertault has an incredible voice that skillfully replicates the wide range of scales of musical instruments and she has a strong affinity for classic jazz that takes the scat singing of traditionalists like Sarah Vaughn to a new level. And she comes from a strong French tradition of vocalese artistry in the company of greats like Piaf and Serge Gainsbourg.
