ABOUT THE ORGANIZER
Meet Maria Perez
Maria has always been committed to breaking down barriers and promoting inclusivity in all areas of her life. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and left her dealing with long-covid, she realized how motivation through the collective can be an incredibly powerful force for moving forward, especially in the recovery from challenging situations, whatever they might be.
When individuals come together and work towards a common goal or engage in a shared activity, it can provide a sense of purpose, connection, and support that can be difficult to achieve alone. This is why she decided to reach out today and promote this personal initiative.
Maria is originally from Venezuela and has a background in project management community development with her work at El Planeta Media, Harvard Business Publishing and edX. Currently she is a real estate agent for RE/MAX Destiny.
