Bright Half Life follows the decades-spanning journey of lesbian couple Erica and Vicky. They meet, fall in love, marry, have children, and eventually divorce—not necessarily in that order. This dream logic rules Bright Half Life—between courtship, marriage, parenthood, loss, and divorce, the characters grapple with intersectionality, legality, identity, and the concept of soulmates.
