Chris Perry is currently on staff at the Community Music Center of Boston as a Music Therapist and is their Senior Director of Community Engagement Programs. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has always had a passion for connecting with others through music. The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
