Utilizing the Great American Songbook to create a killer set of songs, Kidwell creates a shadow world admittedly created largely from watching a lot of true crime television. Bart Greenberg from CABARET SCENES describes Becca’s performance as: “just like the presence of a glamorous and deadly film noir femme fatale, such as Claire Trevor in Murder, My Sweet or Barbara Stanwyck in Double Indemnity….It was an impressive balancing act, unique and original and just a bit unnerving…viciously hysterical.” Under the seasoned musical direction of JON WEBER and direction of JEFF HARNAR, her aim is clear. Bistro Award Winner and British stage actress Lorna Dallas actress warns, ” do watch out! It is a killer smile on her lips! Becca is an alumni of BOSTON UNIVERSITY. She created the blog ,THE NEW ENGLAND THEATRE GEEK, and she was nominated for an IRNE award when she did theatre work in Boston.
