Bach Sonatas (Canceled)

An evening of Bach’s complete Sonatas for Violin and Harpsichord brought by two masters of the Baroque period—the dynamic violinist Antje Weithaas and superstar harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani.  Bach wrote these accompanied sonatas as an integrated set and they have had a dramatic influence on composers, and artists, ever since.  A winner of numerous competitions (Kreisler, Bach, Hanover), Antje has worked with Germany’s leading orchestras and many of the leading European orchestras throughout her career. A Gramophone Award winner, Mahan’s performances are hailed as “something to treasure” (The Times).
