Gloucester Meetinghouse Foundation opens its Spring 2022 concert season with a baroque instruments tribute to J.S, Bach; free; a collection will benefit International Rescue Committee Ukrainian relief.
Meetinghouse Foundation president Charles Nazarian will demonstrate the Flemish Double harpsichord made by David Jacques Way, followed by harpsichordist Mary Jodice and violinist Emily Hale with the Bach Violin Sonata in C-minor; a Bach violin solo by Ms. Hale; soprano Caroline Teague singing Bach's “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring"; counter-tenor Cameron Dobson with selections from Bach's Mass in B-Minor accompanied by Ms. Jodice; and Ms. Jodice performing Bach's Passacaglia and Fugue in C-minor,
