Twelve of Boston’s premiere performing artists tour through the Deep south to explore America’s racial history, discovering many hidden truths and the power of love and empathy.

This award-winning feature length documentary follows twelve Boston-based poets and dancers as they travel from Jackson, MS up the Great Migration Trail to Chicago, performing an original piece called Invisible: Imprints of Racism. At each showing they facilitate talkbacks with audiences, meet with Civil Rights veterans and discover new perspectives on American history that was never taught in school.
