Author Talk with Marjan Kamali

The Friends of the Maynard Public Library are pleased to present a virtual talk by Marjan Kamali via Zoom.  She will read from her latest book, talk about her writing and answer questions from the audience. Kamali’s novel The Stationery Shop, part historical novel and part romance, tells the story of two young lovers torn apart by the political upheaval of the 1950’s in Iran. It was a Boston Globe best-seller, an Indie Next Pick, one of Newsweek’s 30 Best Summer Books, and was named to numerous “Best Books of 2019” lists.
