Discover what conservation scientists have learned about objects through studying their X-radiographs.
Join conservator Kate Smith in making the invisible visible! As part of our new Art + Science Pathway, eight objects across our galleries are accompanied by images of their X-radiographs, which have given clues to conservation staff about how the works were made and how they have changed over time. Smith will look closely at three of these objects in this fascinating talk.
